This policy explains how Datil Technologies, Inc. (“Egret”) collects, uses and protects personal information of the people who use Egret and who contact us, and the rights you have under state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act.

We do not collect sensitive personal information about the people who use Egret.
How we use it
- To create and manage your account, connect your devices and provide the service your organization contracted, including support.
- To keep the service secure and maintain the audit log your organization relies on.
- To reply to you and to meet legal and contractual obligations.
Our customers' data
When an organization uses Egret, it decides how the personal information of the people its team talks to is used, and gives them its own notice, which Egret writes and records. Egret processes that information as a service provider, only to provide the service and on that organization's instructions. To exercise rights over it, use the link in the notice you received or contact that organization.
Disclosure
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose it to our service provider Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts and protects the service and sends our emails, and to authorities when the law requires.
Retention
We keep account information while your account is active and your organization is our customer; audit records for as long as the organization exists; encrypted backups for 35 days.
Your rights
Depending on your state, you can ask to know and access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive it in a portable format, and limit or opt out of certain uses. Write to datospersonales@datil.com. We will verify your request with the information we already hold and reply within 45 days. An authorized agent can make the request for you. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
Egret is a service for organizations and is not directed to children under 16.
